Will, Kate & Harry attends the 2011 Sun Military Awards

Prince William and wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, attended The Sun Military Awards, held at the Imperial War Museum on Monday (December 19) in London, England.  Kate looked stunning in a dramatic floor-length black strapless gown by Alexander McQueen with ruffled neckline and fishtail hem.  The velvet dress was accessorized with a black clutch bag, towering black Prada heels, ruby and diamond starburst necklace with matching earrings and bracelet.  Elle UK reported that the jewelry were all wedding presents from a family friend, as confirmed by St. James Palace.

The royal couple were also joined by William’s younger brother, Prince Harry.  The brothers opted for black double-breasted tuxedos, which coordinated perfectly with Kate’s outfit.

The awards ceremony honors the brave men and women serving in the British armed forces as well as civilians involved with the forces.
