The Office star wore a one-shoulder shimmery silver sleeveless knee length Ralph Lauren dress that featured a thin wavy vintage silver Judith Leiber belt. Angelina Jolie is stylish and stately “In the Land of Blood & Honey”
Stepping out for her directorial debut, Angelina Jolie, with supportive partner Brad Pitt looked sophisticated on the red carpet at the premiere of “In the Land of Blood and Honey” in New York City at the School of Visual Arts on Monday (December 5).
Looking like the portrait of perfection in a pair of black ensembles, the Hollywood power couple took time to pose for a few snapshots before heading inside the Big Apple’s School of Visual Arts. The 36-year-old actress, who wrote and directed the film, looked stunning in a black Joseph short flutter sleeve top and black Ralph Lauren floor length skirt with a little pleated detail. Angie accessorized with black Cole Haan platform shoes and gold Ofira, earrings, necklace and bracelet jewelry. Jolie kept her makeup simple and perfectly in tune with the outfit, opting for smoky eyes, heavy blush on the cheeks and soft lip color. Her hair was styled in large waves and parted on the side.
On hand to support her throughout the evening was partner Brad Pitt, looking dapper in Tom Ford; black suit with matching vest, unshaven face and gray dress shirt.
Brad Pitt’s parents, Bill and Jane Pitt, were also in attendance to support Angelina’s film, making it a special event for the pair. They readily spoke to reporters, saying they were “very proud” of Jolie and admired her penchant for perfection, which included being a “really good mom.” On her part, Jolie said she is delighted the support that Brad and his parents had given to her. “It means everything,” Jolie said, “I couldn’t be standing here without them.”
Set for a December 23rd here in the States, the movie was made in both English and Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian language. “In the Land of Blood and Honey” reveals a love affair between a Serbian male and a Bosnian female during the 1992 Bosnian War.
