Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge in Orla Kiely – The Prince’s Foundation for Children and The Arts

Catherine Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, better known as Kate Middleton, accompanied Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall to pay a visit to the Dulwich Picture Gallery to see the work of The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts on Thursday (March 15) in London, England.

The 30-year-old royal wife of Prince William looked spectacular in a grey pleated cocktail dress by Irish designer Orla Kiely featuring black daisy floral embroidered appliqués detailing around the neckline, belt accent tied to the waist and a pleated skirt.  The knee length frock was accessorized with Links of London ‘Hope Egg’ white topaz and white rhodolite drop earrings, thin bracelet, black bow clutch bag and black suede Episode pumps.

Kate Middleton with Prince William - Christmas services at Sandringham

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Kate Middleton, known formally as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, joined the British Royal Family for a traditional Christmas Day service at Sandringham on Sunday (December 25) in King’s Lynn, England..  The royal couple’s presence helped attract a record 3,000 well-wishers to St Mary Magdalene church on the Norfolk estate.

It was the Duchess of Cambridge’s first Christmas at Sandringham after her marriage to Prince William in April of last year.  All eyes were on the 29-year-old as she and her husband walked to the service dressed head-to-toe in a festive berry shade.  The ensemble included a pair of diamond drop earrings, a modest knee-length maroon coat, black dress, tights and a hat by milliner Jane Corbett (who regularly creates pieces for the Middleton family), black gloves, black LK Bennett platform pumps and half up, half down hairstyle.

The 29-year-old Duke of Cambridge was accompanied by his grandmother, The Queen, his brother, Prince Harry, his father, Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Kate Middleton in Temperley London with Prince William – War Horse UK premiere

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Kate Middleton, known formally as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, attended Steven Spielberg’s UK premiere of War Horse at Odeon Leicester Square on January 8, 2012 in London, England.

Her Royal Highness wore a black lace Alice by Temperley floor length gown.  The Temperley London frock featured black lace over a nude underlay, lace sleeves, a v-neck and a black velvet band clinching her waist.  The look was completed with a diamond earrings, diamond bracelet and matching black ‘Ballerina’ velvet clutch featuring an oversized bow by Mascaró.

Kate Middleton in Jesire - National Portrait Gallery visit

Taking on her new royal responsibilities with grace, Kate Middleton, known formally as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, made one of her first solo appearances Wednesday night (February 8), attending the Lucian Freud Portraits exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London, England.

Kate attended the private viewing solo while her husband Prince William, Duke of Cambridge of is away doing search-and-rescue training in the Falkland Islands.  Kate, who has become a fashion icon, wore a gray tweed Jesire A-line coat dress with a large shawl collar, cinched waist and pleated skirt.  The high-street label’s dress was accessorized with a sleek black belt, diamond bracelet, diamond necklace, black clutch and sky high black suede Jimmy Choo heels.

Kate got her degree in Art History at the University of St. Andrews.  Middleton, who became a patron of the world-famous art gallery last month, received a private tour of the Lucien Freud exhibit before it opened to the public Thursday.   The exhibition, which officially opens to the general public on February 9, 2012, features 130 artworks spanning the length of Freud’s painting career from the early 1940s until his final, unfinished work.
