Kelly Clarkson in Pamella Roland - 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards 2012

Kelly Clarkson performed a duet with Jason Aldean at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles, California.
The American Idol winner, 29, wore a sleeveless black chiffon halter Pamella Roland floor length gown with crystal beaded silver straps crisscrossing and wrapping around the waist and plunging neckline. The sexy dress was accessorized with Diamond in the Rough jewelry and Dana Davis heels.
The two belted out their hit song “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” which was up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, but lost to The Civil Wars for “Barton Hollow.”
Last week, Kelly‘s song “Stronger,” the title track from her latest album, climbed to the top of Billboard‘s Hot 100 following her Super Bowl appearance where she sang the national anthem. It marks her third number one single after 2002′s “A Moment Like This” and 2009′s “My Life Would Suck Without You”.
The Grammy Awards 2012 stirred up a mix of emotions on Sunday evening. The music world took a moment to remember the loss of their ‘fallen sister’, Whitney Houston.
The annual ceremony started off on a somber note as the evening’s host, LL Cool J, asked the celebrity packed audience to acknowledge the death of the singer, Whitney Houston, that died at 48-years-old. Rather than seeing the passing of the star as an opportunity to mourn, the Grammy Awards was a celebration of the singer’s achievements.
