Adele walked the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles, California.
The Someone Like You songbird, 23, dazzled in a black sequined and embellished crystal three-quarter sleeved custom ring-designs Giorgio Armani floor length gown with black mesh overlay and cinching at the waist by a black grosgrain panel on the front. The stunning frock was accessorized with diamond-encrusted De Beers earrings, a 12.4 carat Harry Winston diamond micro-pave ring set in platinum and crystal embellished Christian Louboutin “Fifi” pumps.
Adele changed twice – she performed in a lacy black knee-length number with sheer, polka dot netting and then was photographed in a navy blue three-quarter sleeved velvet floor length frock with all 6 of her awards.
Adele made her highly anticipated comeback after undergoing surgery on her vocal chords and even performed at the show. She won every award she was nominated for, including record of the year, song of the year and best short form music video for Rolling in the Deep. Her second album, 21, was named album of the year.
The Grammy Awards 2012 stirred up a mix of emotions on Sunday evening. The music world took a moment to remember the loss of their ‘fallen sister’, Whitney Houston.
The annual ceremony started off on a somber note as the evening’s host, LL Cool J, asked the celebrity packed audience to acknowledge the death of the singer, Whitney Houston, that died at 48-years-old. Rather than seeing the passing of the star as an opportunity to mourn, the Grammy Awards was a celebration of the singer’s achievements.

Diane was nominated for the award for Best Performance in a Miniseries or Television Film for her role in the HBO drama film Cinema Verite.
