Prince William & Duchess Kate: Prince’s Trust Concert
Heading out for an evening together, Prince William and wife, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, were spotted arriving at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England on Tuesday (December 6).
The concert will benefit the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry and the Prince’s Trust (named after their granddad, Prince Phillip). The proceeds from the Prince’s Trust concert in Hyde Park benefit are going to rebuild neighborhoods hit hardest by the London riots in August.
The handsome Prince and his stunning wife looked to be in great spirits as they strolled inside for a Gary Barlow Charity Concert with Kate clad in a black and white Zara‘s ‘Lace Tulip’ dress paired with a blazer by Ralph Lauren. The Duchess cinched her new season $99 lace overlay Zara sheath mini dress with a wide black belt. This lace-accented Zara frock is now sold out on both the US and Canadian sites and only available on the UK site in extra small and small sizes.
The ever-stylish princess completed the look with a black Ralph Lauren jacket, black suede clutch, black opaque pantyhose and black heels. Kate wore her brunette hair in a loose curl and tried her best to keep it in place as she made her way into the venue. The look was accessorized with her sapphire engagement ring, gold charm bracelet and Kiki McDonough ‘Grace’ earrings.
Kate did add a touch of her characteristic conservative style with opaque black tights and matching heels along with her penchant of recycling her clothing pieces; this time, it is the classic black Ralph Lauren jacket she wore when departing Buckingham Palace the day after the couple’s wedding. On that occasion she also sported a Zara creation – a $80 cornflower blue pleated dress which quickly sold out.
While it showed off her shapely legs, it also appeared to make the 29-year-old slightly self-conscious, and she could be seen repeatedly tugging the dress down. It seems the hemline on the dress was significantly higher than anything Middleton has worn for a public engagement before.
The royal couple was joined in attending the second of two solo concerts by Take That frontman and The X Factor judge Gary Barlow by Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Camilla wore an olive embroidered jacket and chocolate-bronze skirt by couturier Anna Valentine; the Duchess of Cornwall previously wore the ensemble to the Pride of Britain Awards. Prince Charles and Prince William were in navy blue suits.
Will, Kate, Prince Charles and wife Camilla, had a private tête-à-tête with the evening’s headliner, singer Gary Barlow, before making their way to the royal box to watch the concert. Barlow will be donating the profits from the evening to the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry, of which Kate is a patron, and the Prince’s Trust.
